ROWING
If you haven't had much experience on a rower, it might surprise you how much technique is involved in order to row efficiently and effectively. Most people will hop on a rower and start pulling like a bat out of hell. Sure, this gets the job done, but how sustainable is it to all out sprint the first 100m and then burn out? Not very. So then you end up slowing down (substantially) to catch your breath or give your limbs a rest. Then as you regain some oomph, you start pulling for dear life again. Now imagine someone running like that...it would be a pretty funny sight (and the runner would probably eat it too). We want to steer clear of this and today's class will help you gain some clarity on rowing form, along with understand what all those numbers on the screen mean.
I won't lie to you, this WOD is no walk in the park, but after you come in and gain some skill work surrounding your rowing technique, it'll suck less...but only by a little :)
