WOD

4 Rounds for Total Reps

1 minute MAX Calorie Row
1 minute MAX Abmat Sit Up
1 minute MAX Wall Ball
1 minute MAX Box Jumps 24/20
1 minute REST

Our inaugural first WOD at CrossFit Black Tusk.  This WOD sums up who we are and what we believe in as coaches and as athletes.

1) You get what you give - you can do any movement for 1 minute.  It's not an insane amount of time, but it's just enough to make you dread continuing on and question if you can maintain your max effort.  By the time you look at the clock, you'll likely only have 30 seconds left and let's be honest, you LITERALLY CAN DO ANYTHING FOR 30 seconds!  Sure, you could dial it in and go slower than you are capable of, but is that you true MAX EFFORT? Probably not. So, you get what you give.  You give max effort, you get max results.

2) Always working on weakness - it's so easy to like movements that you are naturally good at.  Who doesn't like being good at things and stuff?  But it's the movements that we struggle with that need the most attention.  2 out of the 4 movements listed above are respectively big weaknesses for Anne and Jason, but because they are weakness, we realize that we have to work on them in order to improve them.  They aren't going to improve themselves.  So join us and dread this WOD with us :)
