Our number one priority is to train our athletes to move safely and efficiently. In order for us to properly coach and help you, the athlete, improve your movements, we need time. This means that we do not pack our classes with multiple "mini-wods" or always have long chipper-type workouts. Instead we program to always incorporate a skill or technique portion so that you will have an opportunity to learn and practice good form. We do NOT believe that practice makes perfect, instead we believe that practice makes permanent. When you continually practice good movements patterns, they will translate into good movement during the WODs and the same goes for the opposite. Repeatedly going through WODs with bad form will inevitably create bad habits. Habits are hard to break and fix in the long run. Everyone, no matter how experienced, will benefit from coaching and will have room to improve. Just remember that there is always intention behind each work out and want you to understand what this is. If you are hitting each workout based on the intention, you will not feel like it is not enough and that you need more. More is not always better. [/caption]
